We are proud to announce that the BITUTAK APP two-ply system with RESISTO LB1236 self-adhesive base is now certified in Florida.
Indeed, 12 roofing systems using the RESISTO LB1236 as a base sheet on various substrates are now approved by the Florida Building Code FL17084.

Those assemblies, tested for wind uplift resistance of up to -135 PSF, can be applied on substrates such as plywood, OSB, and wood planks.
ICE & WATER PROTECTOR – LB1236
LB1236 is a 53 mils self-adhesive waterproofing membrane made of elastomeric SBS bitumen with a glass mat reinforcement. The surface is sanded and the underface is composed of a silicone split release film easily detachable in two parts.

BITUTAK MB MINERAL is a 161 mils (4.1 mm) heat-welded cap sheet membrane composed of a blend of APP (atactic polypropylene) polymers, select asphalts and a non-woven polyester reinforcement with a granulated surface.

BITUTAK MB SMOOTH is a 150 mils (3.8 mm) heat-welded cap sheet membrane composed of a blend of APP (atactic polypropylene) polymers, select asphalts and a non-woven polyester reinforcement with a sanded surface.
